Gymnastics

This week at gymnastics we moved our bodies like different animals. We then practised the rolls we learned last week - the hedgehog roll and the pencil roll.

After this we made a sequence with a shape at the beginning and the end with a roll in the middle. The children really enjoyed this and gave each other feedback on things they liked about the sequences and how they could improve.

Ask your child to show you the different shapes they can make and rolls they can do.

WALT:

We are learning to make different shapes with our bodies. The shapes we are making are pikes, tucks, stretch and straddle.
We are learning to make a sequence using shapes and rolls.

SUCCESS CRITERIA: Make a sequence using different shapes and rolls.

TEACHER COMMENT: You are getting really good at the different rolls and shapes that we have been practising. Keep up the good work!
